“When I got the call to do the movie, I was driving my car and I immediately shouted ‘yes!’” says everybody’s favourite everyman Hugh Jackman. “When you get butterflies over a project you just know it’s something you have to pursue.”

This month, he hangs up his civvies and steps out of superhero retirement for big-budget buddy-hero flick Deadpool & Wolverine – and it’s got our Hugh feeling reflective.

“There is always something to learn, there is always something new to do, there’s always a new goal to go for,” Jackman says, describing himself as someone “who always wants to keep moving, trying new things, different challenges, and setting the bar higher and higher”.
