Pet Food Bank

Australia is a nation of animal lovers, but with the ever-soaring cost of living, pet surrenders are on the rise. In this issue, we visit the pet pantries that are popping up across Australia, providing food and other essentials to keep pets and their people together – and speak to the people using these vital services. “It is such a basic necessity to be able to feed your pet, and the fact that they can’t feed their pets does not mean they don’t love them,” says Second Chance Animal Rescue CEO Marisa Debattista.
