Thirty years in the making, the day has finally arrived – our 30th Birthday Edition is here!

This collector’s edition is the ultimate celebration of The Big Issue’s first three decades. With a striking gold cover and 68 pages, the bumper edition looks back on 30 remarkable years celebrating the people who have shaped The Big Issue, from vendors and readers to supporters and contributors. The edition also features pieces from Margaret Pomeranz, Tsehay Hawkins, Milly Alcock, Adam Briggs, Stephanie Alexander, Poh Ling Yeow and much more. 

This is a one-off edition for the entire month of June, created to mark the milestone and provide support in a meaningful, practical way. 

Where to buy 

From a vendor 

Copies of the 30th birthday edition are available from your local vendor. At $30, vendors will make $18 from each sale, four times more than usual. 

Online store 

Magazines are available from our online store if you’re not close to a vendor. Online orders are packed by our Women’s Workforce, providing employment for women living on the margins. 

Subscriptions 

If you’d like to receive The Big Issue magazine regularly, subscriptions are also available and packed by our Women’s Workforce.
